Church Committees
No one can do it alone and that applies to the church as well. We thank all our congregants who assist and serve on the church committees.
We are always looking for fresh ideas and fresh faces to join and help, so if you see something that interests you please use our contact page to let us know.
Worship Committee
The Worship Committee works with the pastor to plan the worship service and music of the congregation and also coordinates with the Altar Guild and Seasonal Decorations Committee.
Stewardship Committee
The Stewardship Committee is chaired by the congregational treasurer. They will study the subject of Christian Stewardship and finance and will seek to cultivate the spirit and actual practice there within the congregation. For each new year, it shall prepare the annual budget for presentation to the Council and the congregation.
Outreach Committee
The Outreach Committee shall be responsible for the greeting of members as well as visitors, strive to reclaim nonactive members, contact and introduce prospective members and new comers to the community, care for any special cases of illness or nee in the congregation, serve as liaison with the Stephen Ministry program and advise with the pastor thereof.
Parish Education Committee
The Parish Education Committee supervises all organizations and agencies of Christian education in the congregation, works with the pastor in planning and using a catechetical program leading to the Rite of Confirmation, selects and appoints the superintendent(s) and working staff of the Sunday School and Vacation Bible School, and provides a program of Adult Christian Education.
Youth Committee
The Youth Committee will plan and coordinate social events and programs for the various age groups of youth in the congregation from elementary school through college.
Child Development Center Board
The Child Development Center Board will oversee the operation of the St. Paul Child Development Center and work closely with the director in administering all policies and procedures.
Fellowship Committee
The Fellowship Committee will provide events and opportunites for fellowship for the congregation and for groups within the congregation.
Senior Ministry Committee
The Senior Ministry Committee will provide for a program of care, visitiation, recreation, and fellowship for the senior members of the church and community.
Community Service Committee
The Community Service Committee provides ministry to the poor and needy in the committee and serves as a liaison with the various community service programs and organizations.
Property Committee
The Property Committee is responsible for the maintenance, repair of anf upkeep of all church facilities.
